Former Royal Kevin Seitzer glad to be back in KC as member of Braves

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kevin Seitzer still makes his home in Kansas City, but there’s just one problem. He’s never there. As hitting coach of the atlanta Braves, Seitzer was back in town over the weekend for the three-game series against the Royals. Seitzer, who played for the Royals from 1986-91 and served as the team’s hitting coach from 2009-12, was glad to be back even if it was just for a short while. “I’ll be back again for the All-Star break, but it was nice to get to come home and play the Royals,” Seitzer said prior to Sunday's series finale at Kauffman Stadium. read more ...
